Hair and Make Up Studio

On leaving school at 16, I trained as a hairdresser, and then went to college for 3 years where I completed my City and Guilds in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.

In 1981 I joined the BBC where I worked for the following 16 years. In January 1997 I left the BBC. I was then a fully fledged Hair and Make Up Designer. I have been Freelance ever since.

I have also furthered my qualifications and talents by becoming qualified in acrylic, gel and fibreglass nails, mono fibre and real hair, hair extensions, airbrush make up, tanning and individual eyelash extensions.

I work with many ranges of Make ups including hypoallergenic for ultra sensitive skins. I also have access to professional make-up unavailable to the general public.

I do make up for all skin tones and types.

I love my job with a passion.

Having worked in the industry for over 29 years I decided that due to intermittent workloads, long hours, hours spent driving to and from work that it was now time to regain some control of my life. I want a more normal life but don't want to give up what I love doing the most, so by starting 'SERENDIPITY STUDIO' I can offer to others what I have been doing for many years in the Television and Film Industry and have a life again.

I have a wealth of experience and knowledge that I am more than happy to share.

During my career I have worked with many "Celebrities ", and my make up room , or on location the make up caravan, was always known for its warm, friendly and happy ambiance. Consequently,  stars and crew alike were always drawn to it and loved spending time with us. I now want to replicate this ambiance at SERENDIPITY STUDIO so that all my clients feel comfortable, welcome and pampered, then they will go home having enjoyed their experience and want to return again and again.

I will have 'flexible' opening hours, as my clients come first and also my prices will be kept affordable to all.

I chose the name 'SERENDIPITY' because it means 'Fate' 'To make happy chances'.

I am a great believer in fate and believe 150% in what I am doing and offering.

Fate has led me to being here.
