Introducing Christina Webster

Welcome to my web site. I'm Christina Webster (often known as Chrissie) - a Hair and Make Up Designer/Artist with over 27 years experience in the industry.

I began my career as a hairdresser and beautician before joining the BBC in 1981 - turning freelance 16 years later.

I am versatile and skilled in all areas of hairdressing, make-up and prosthetics. I am well respected by Production and Artists for my organisation skills and have been complimented on my financial management, always keeping within the agreed budget. My records of expenditure control are excellent.

I am continually updating and learning new techniques to further my knowledge. Consequently I am now qualified in fibreglass, acrylic and gel nail extensions, airbrushing make-up, tanning, body art, nail art, eyelash extensions and real and synthetic hair extensions. I have also been involved in teaching in this industry.

I am a genuine, adaptable all rounder and am considered reliable, trustworthy and hard working. I derive a great deal of job satisfaction from my work and am extremely enthusiastic.
